-
Corrosion-Resistant Aluminum: Durable finish withstands repeated use and exposure to sealants.
-
Standard 6 mm Thread: Compatible with most Presta-type valve extenders, valve caps, and pump heads.
-
Rubber Base Gasket: Provides an airtight seal against the valve hole on most rims.
Available Lengths:
-
32 mm, 40 mm, 48 mm, 60 mm, and 80 mm (all with removable cores)
-
16 mm and 22 mm (core fixed; not removable)
Description
Upgrade or replace your existing Presta valves with Evo’s 0.9 mm wall-thickness stems. The ultra-thin-wall profile reduces rotating mass, giving you a slight edge whether you’re spinning up a climb or cruising urban roads. Each valve is machined from anodized aluminum to resist corrosion from moisture and sealant. The removable core design (available on all lengths except 16 mm and 22 mm) lets you inject tubeless sealant mid-ride or thoroughly clean the core when debris builds up.
Why Choose Evo Presta Valves?
-
Lightweight Performance: Every gram counts—0.9 mm walls shave off weight while maintaining strength.
-
Tubeless-Ready: Pop out the core, add sealant through the valve stem, and screw it back in. No extra tools or rim access needed.
-
Versatile Lengths: Multiple lengths mean you can find the perfect fit for deep-dish rims or standard shallow rims.
-
Reliable Seal: The integrated rubber base gasket ensures a secure, leak-free interface with your rim’s valve hole.
Installation & Usage
-
Prepare the Rim: Ensure the valve hole is clean and free of sharp edges or burrs.
-
Insert the Valve: Push the Evo Presta valve stem through the rim hole until the rubber base seats flush against the rim’s inner surface.
-
Tighten the Locknut (If Included): Use moderate hand torque—finger-tight plus ¼ turn—to avoid stripping threads or crushing the rim.
-
Add Sealant (Tubeless Models): If your valve has a removable core, use a small valve-core tool to unscrew it. Inject sealant, then reinstall the core and tighten.
-
Inflate: Attach your pump head or mini-pump, open the valve by unscrewing the small valve cap, and inflate to your desired pressure.
-
Cap It: Replace the protective valve cap to keep dirt and moisture out.
Compatibility Notes:
-
Removable Core: Available on all lengths except 16 mm and 22 mm—these short-length valves have fixed cores.
-
Rim Tape: For tubeless setups, ensure proper tubeless rim tape coverage before seating the tire.
-
Valve Extenders & Caps: Standard 6 mm threaded stems fit most extenders, pump heads, and dust caps.
Keep your wheels rolling smoothly with Evo’s precision Presta valves—engineered for lightweight performance, easy maintenance, and rock-solid sealing.
