Big Dummy is Surly's analog longtail, the bike that makes you rethink how you carry everything. Since 2008 it has helped families ditch a car, helped businesses cut deliveries down to pedal power, and moved more friends' apartments than anyone can count. Load it with a month of groceries, lumber from the hardware store, your kids, or anything else under the 400 lb rider-and-cargo limit. No motor, no battery, no charging. Just steel and gears.
Every complete comes with the paint-matched Dummy Deck, Dummy Rails, Rail Collars and Big Dummy Bags v2.0, so it hauls the day you take it home.
Frame Highlights
- 100% Surly 4130 Chromoly Natch tubing, double-butted main triangle and fork blades, TIG welded and E.D. coated inside for rust prevention
- Single-piece frame for stiffness and less torsional flex under load
- 400 lb combined rider and cargo weight limit

- Clearance for 26 x 2.5" tires with fenders, plus fender eyelets
